The questions are built from old intensive PSLE prep materials curated by our founders, and every worksheet is generated fresh.

In Singapore, Primary 6 students are usually around 12 years old. Roughly speaking, this is similar to Grade 6 in many K-12 systems, Year 6 in some Commonwealth systems, and Standard 6 in Malaysia. Exact placement varies by country and school calendar.

Why Singapore-style maths is worth trying

Singapore consistently performs strongly in international education studies. In PISA 2022, Singapore led the mathematics assessment, and OECD country data reports Singapore's 15-year-olds scoring well above OECD averages in mathematics and science. That does not mean every Singapore worksheet is automatically superior, but it does explain why many overseas families are curious about the style of problem-solving Singapore students practise.

The PSLE, or Primary School Leaving Examination, is Singapore's annual national examination at the end of primary school, usually taken by Primary 6 students around age 12. It is used as a placement exercise for secondary school courses, so local families often treat the Primary 6 year seriously. This page is not affiliated with Singapore's Ministry of Education or SEAB, and these worksheets are not official examination papers.

This PSLE worksheet generator is separate from our current programme, but it comes from real preparation material: our founders previously ran intensive PSLE prep, and this page collates and refreshes that old resource bank.

The Math Guy

Our founders are alumni of Raffles Institution and Hwa Chong Institution. The Math Guy serves Singapore Integrated Programme students from Secondary 1 through J2, with online lessons built around the pace, depth and problem-solving demands of IP Mathematics.

In Singapore, the Integrated Programme is a six-year secondary-to-pre-university pathway that leads to the GCE A-Level examination, International Baccalaureate Diploma, or NUS High School Diploma, with students generally bypassing the O-Level examination midway. Entry into IP schools is selective and competitive: students are usually admitted after the Primary School Leaving Examination, and many families treat upper-primary problem solving seriously because it can affect access to these academically demanding pathways. This PSLE generator is shared separately from our current IP programme, using material from our earlier years of intensive PSLE preparation.

How to use the benchmark

These are not AI-generated questions. They are curated question templates from old PSLE-prep materials, rewritten so that every download preserves the same underlying question types while refreshing the numbers, names and scenarios. If a student misses a question type, regenerate the worksheet and try a fresh version of the same structure.
