PSLE Prep

PSLE maths worksheets, generated fresh every time.

Built from the resource bank our founders developed over years of intensive PSLE preparation, these worksheets are arranged in roughly ascending difficulty and generated fresh on every download. If a question type gives you trouble, download the same worksheet again for a new set of numbers and contexts. The first three worksheets are free, with unlimited regenerations; the full pack unlocks the remaining worksheets. Our current tuition work focuses on Integrated Programme students.

What Regeneration Means

Same question structure. Fresh numbers and situations.

Regenerating a worksheet does not simply rearrange the same questions. It preserves the mathematical idea being tested while changing suitable values, names, items and contexts. These illustrations are independently written examples, not official PSLE questions.

Fractions Fraction of a remainder
Version 1

A shop sold 38 of its notebooks in the morning. It later sold 25 of the remainder. What fraction was left?

Fresh version

A bakery sold 49 of its muffins before noon. It later sold 35 of the remainder. What fraction was left?

Same skill: finding a fraction of what remains. Changes: fractions, item and setting.

Ratio Before and after
Version 1

The ratio of red beads to blue beads was 3 : 5. After 24 red beads were added, the ratio became 3 : 4. How many beads were there at first?

Fresh version

The ratio of fiction books to non-fiction books was 4 : 7. After 18 fiction books were added, the ratio became 2 : 3. How many books were there at first?

Same skill: comparing an unchanged quantity across two ratios. Changes: ratio, increase and objects.

Percentage Successive changes
Version 1

A bag originally cost $75. Its price was increased by 20%, then the new price was reduced by 20%. What was the final price?

Fresh version

A bicycle originally cost $120. Its price was increased by 25%, then the new price was reduced by 10%. What was the final price?

Same skill: applying percentage changes one after another. Changes: price, rates and item.

Assumption Difference method
Version 1

Adult tickets cost $12 each and child tickets cost $7 each. A total of 38 tickets was sold for $351. How many adult tickets were sold?

Fresh version

Notebooks cost $6 each and folders cost $4 each. A shop sold 45 items for $222. How many notebooks were sold?

Same skill: using two rates, a total quantity and a total value. Changes: prices, totals and context.

Why this matters

Getting one familiar question correct can come from memory. Solving a fresh version shows whether the student recognises the underlying structure and can rebuild the method when the surface details change.

Who We Are

A note from The Math Guy

The Math Guy is an online tuition team for Integrated Programme (IP) students WhatsApp Us — we teach the IP syllabus from Secondary 1 through J2. Our founding team are RI and HCI alumni who met through secondary school and university. At The Math Guy, we conduct lessons purely online, because working together on a shared digital whiteboard gives us a more granular view of each student's thought process — and that lets us guide them better. Find out more on our main site.

We understand that sitting for the PSLE can be an anxious time. These worksheets are built from the resource bank our founders developed over years of running PSLE prep classes, and every download is generated fresh — so the practice never runs out. Qualifying for an IP school can be challenging, and we hope this helps.

All the best — see you on the other side!

PSLE maths revision that never runs out of questions

Primary 6 maths often presents familiar concepts through varied, multi-step situations. These worksheets are built around recurring problem structures and regenerate with fresh numbers on every download. Instead of exhausting a static assessment book, students can repeat a worksheet until the method is secure, then move up to the next level of difficulty.

PSLE must-know topics covered

  • Fractions — branching, units vs no units, remainder concepts
  • Ratio — splitting units, before-and-after comparisons
  • Percentage — GST, discounts, percentage change
  • Grouping and assumption (guess-and-check) problems
  • Number patterns and sequences
  • Circles — area, circumference and composite figures
  • Challenging word problems in the PSLE style

How it works

  1. Pick a worksheet — they run in roughly ascending difficulty.
  2. Regenerate as many times as you like; every set has fresh numbers and a new order.
  3. Download the paper — questions in one PDF, the full answer key in another.

Built for PSLE preparation

Print a worksheet a day in the run-up to the exam, or target a weak topic by regenerating the same worksheet until every question type is familiar. Every download includes a separate answer-key PDF, so checking answers is quick.

Frequently asked questions

Are these PSLE maths worksheets free?
Worksheets 1–3 are completely free, with unlimited regenerations. A one-time S$50 payment unlocks Worksheets 4–12 and their answer keys.
What PSLE maths topics do the worksheets cover?
The pack covers fractions, ratio, percentage, grouping and assumption problems, number patterns, circles, and challenging multi-step word problems.
How is each worksheet different every time?
Worksheets are generated from question templates, so each regeneration produces the same question types with fresh numbers and a new order — ideal for repeated revision.
Do the worksheets come with answers?
Yes. Every download includes the questions as one PDF and a separate answer-key PDF.
Are the worksheets arranged by difficulty?
Yes, roughly ascending. Start at Worksheet 1 and work upwards, regenerating for extra practice wherever you struggle.
